What is a jump hour?
A jump hour watch is a unique timepiece where the hour indicator does not slowly sweep across the dial. Instead, it displays the hour numerically in a small window and instantly "jumps" to the next number at the exact moment the 60th minute of the previous hour ends.

It’s an interesting design. 38mm is a little small on my wrist but, that’s okay. I would have liked it better if the movement was rotated so the crown would be on the right and the hour window would be on the upper right. Since it’s a lighter part of the dial I think it would be easier to read. Making the hour display a little larger would also help. A second hand would be nice to have movement on the dial. A little fish would be cool. I also feel the 18mm strap is a little feminine.

Definitely a conversation starter
Because when someone asks to look at it I respond with "Can you tell me what time it is?" So its a great theme done well in the dial unlike I've seen anywhere else. Autowind which is good. The left hand crown doesn't make much sense as I flip it around to the right to wind it or set the time. Lots of uniqueness but you just have to give up knowing the time. The jump hour window I had to find under a magnifying glass. It will be part of my microbrand collection.
