Charley Harper Turtleneck Automatic

From day one, this watch always catches the attention of people passing by. It is also very unique that only the person wearing it will know the time and it always make small talk when I explain to people how the watch works.

Im a little disappointed about the leather strap of the watch. It is showing wear already and ive only had the watch (and not worn it daily!) for a few months. I feel as though ill be replacing the leather strap of the watch with a higher grade strap (keeping it leather, but a sturdier, finished leather).
Also, I echo the wish that the minute white dot was a little more stand out to be able to tell time (or even have a glow in the dark dot) for ease of use, but that's the artistry instead of the functionality.
I love the open back. I love the auto winding function.
All-in-all, im enjoying very much this watch, just wishing that the leather strap had a little more longevity to it.

I think this watch is very nicely done. The design is a great homage to Charley Harper's original artwork. The watch is surprisingly easy to read once you figure out what each hand is. The open back looks really nice too with it's green tinted glass. The watch keeps time well at around +20 seconds per day by my count. The only thing that could have made this watch better would have been to add some indices somewhere to help improve the ease of setting and reading, but I understand that this is an art focused watch rather than a function first watch. Overall, if you love turtles and are looking for a fun piece to add to your watch collection, or are a fan of Charley Harper's work, then this watch is a must have!
